Last Week we had the visiting of Alex SQ9UM at Crete Isl.
Alex come to Heraklio for a while and we meet eachother .The company SQ9UM Alex ,Magda(sorry i miss the callsign)SV9DJO George and Me of course we had the change  to talk about hobby ,Dxing and the adventures of Alex and his trips arround the world unfortunatelly not so much time..

SV9COL ....NOISE Vs Bigger Noise

...NOISE !!!The worst nightmare for every ham receiver ..
Did you ever think to change our hobby?...Im start to thinking ..more and more..
last weekend During the Cw WPX Contest the situation was tragically noise level S8-9 on Higher bands S9 Plus on lower during almost all day and night...But finnaly i manage to give some multies.
i ve Already start to do some actions for the problem ...ill tell you more the next days


Θορυβος ..!!! ο χειρότερος εφιάλτης για κάθε ραδιοερασιτεχνικό δέκτη...
Σκεφτήκατε ποτε να αλλάξεται το χομπυ μας ; εγω πάντως τον τελευταίο καιρό το σκέφτομαι συνέχεια...το περασμενο Σαββατοκυριακο στο cw wpx contest τα πραγματα ηταν τραγικα,
επιπεδο θορυβου S8-9  στις υψηλες μπάντες ,S9 Plus στις χαμηλότερες σχεδον καθ ολη την διαρκεια της ημερας καια της νυχτας παρολα αυτα καταφερα να δωσω καποια multies...
Ηδη εχω ξεκινήσει καποιες ενεργειες για την αντιμετώπιση το προβλήματος..

SV9COL RETURNING ...to Blog es Ham Activity

Loooong time without news in my blogspot..... Time to change this....
The last spring months April & May come with a lot of nice surprises..except Easter time and some holidays we had a lot Of Ham activity with nice callsigns on the Air !! Adrenaline going up and almost everybody trying to put them in the log!! Here Is how I Received 7O6T  in my ICOM IC 7000  SSB   ES  CW   using just a 1.5m Mobile Whip Antenna For 15m.Huge pile ups Excellent operators
